Welcome to Brownwood Middle School

Welcome to Brownwood Middle School, a place focused on excellence in academics, service, character, fine arts, and athletics.  We are also a place that strives to create a family atmosphere and build lasting relationships while helping all students reach their potential. Our students have achieved success with the support of our exceptional staff, committed parents, and dedicated community members.  We offer challenging courses to prepare students for successful experiences in high school and beyond.

Our highly qualified staff utilizes standardized test data, benchmark test data and frequent assessments in classes to help tailor the instructional program to meet the needs of the students.

We are also proud of our extra-curricular activities, which have demonstrated success in fostering good sportsmanship, teamwork, and creativity among our students, in addition to preparing students for further participation and success in their high school programs.

Our facilities are excellent, as we have recently completed a renovation project that makes our campus look and feel brand new.  We also have outstanding technology resources to enhance the education of our students.  We have a Pitsco technology lab that emphasizes the use of technology, career preparation, and skill development in math and science. We have recently added a new robotics station to this lab.
